Inner Mongolian Linkage Seed Science Company is a privately owned seed potato producer. In the early 1990's, it commenced potato production from tissue culture to minituber to field seed and commercial products. Late in 2002, prior to the cooperation with Technico ( Kunming ) Horticultural Co. Ltd., Linkage produced tissue culture in its own lab, occasionally purchasing plantlets from research institutes, to then grow minitubers in its own net house. The conditions to control the disease pressure of tissue culture labs and net houses are not strict enough, thus various virus related problems occurred in the field growing stage. Linkage is very impressed with the strict quality control of THKL's facility and the exceptional good quality of Technico's seed products. Linkage first planted TECHNITUBER® seed in 2002 and three years on in 2005 Linkage continues to plant TECHNITUBER® seed in Inner Mongolia .
